John Hall is Fellow of the Energy Institute, a Member of the Market Research Society, a Member of the Parliamentary Group for Energy Studies and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
After several years in industrial market research with Merrett Cyriax Associates, Management Consultants, he set up John Hall Associates in 1973, now one of the principal consultancies operating within the European Union with partners in the US, Fellon-McCord. The company provides an extensive range of services to its many industrial and commercial clients operating within the EU including Risk Management and Energy Procurement programmes supported by a range of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports, outlining and analysing events that have taken place in the global energy markets.
He has closely followed energy markest and in particular the Oil Market for nearly forty years and regularly attends OPEC Meetings and other industry forums. He he has written many reports and publications on the subject, including Reducing Industrial Oil Costs (Gower Technical Press), with Dr. Graham Hankinson. As a market commentator he has appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, CBS, BBC, Sky News, PressTV, Aljazeera English & APTV and elsewhere as a conference speaker.
