Royal Mail
Phil has been with Royal Mail Group for 23 years, joining Parcelforce
Worldwide originally as a management entrant in the workshop network. He
has remained in the Logisitcs and Distribution discipline throughout his
career, progressing through a succession of roles into Royal Mail in 2000
where he took on the role of General Manager Network Distribution for Royal
Mail Letters in 2005. He is currently interim Network Director, leading a
business comprising c. 7,000 employees, about one third of whom are
Professional Drivers, and responsible for the largest logisitcs operation
in the UK. Phil is also responsible for the operation of an air, rail and
sea network through which move around 80 million items of mail every night.
